Tentang Saya (About Me)
I am a senior lecturer at Department of Agriculture Product Technology. My research interests include food and chocolate processing, and biocomposites from agricultural and forestry wastes. Recent projects include training chocolate farmers and improving brown cane sugar industries in Aceh, supported by the Aceh province government, NGOs and the university grant. I give lectures on subject of Plantation Processing (Cacao, Sugar cane and Palm Oil), Unit Operations, and Fermentation. I receive master degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
Now is my 2nd year of my PhD program, at Bioresources Division, School of Industrial Technology, Universiti Sains Malaysia. My current research in PhD is producing nanocrystalline cellulose as a new biomaterial from waste agriculture biomass.
