Tentang Saya (About Me)

Rahmah Johar is a lecturer at the University of Syiah Kuala, Aceh, Indonesia since 1998. Her education of undergraduate, graduate, and doctor program are all about Mathematics Education completed respectively in IKIP Padang (1994), IKIP Surabaya (1997), and Universitas Negeri Surabaya (2006), Indonesia. Since 2006 he has been actively developing and socializing Realistic Mathematics Education. Furthermore she is as a local expert of a 4-year Indonesian education project at West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) funded by DFAT Australia since 2015. Currently, she is holding a position as a coordinator of the Master of Mathematics Education Program at University of Syiah Kuala. Her research interests is about the teacher professional development in teaching mathematics including helping teacher to develop students' reasoning, students' character, democratic classroom, using video lesson, and implementation of technology. She is as an editor in chief of the Jurnal Didaktik Matematika (www.jurnal.unsyiah.ac.id/DM) and as a reviewer of some national journals in Indonesia.
