Tentang Saya (About Me)

Saddam Rassanjani was born in Pidie, 12 November 1990. However, his childhood and adolescence were mostly spent in Banda Aceh. After completed his bachelor's degree in Government Studies from FISIPOL Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta in 2013, he continued his next level of study (funded by LPDP RI) at the University of Glasgow, majoring in Public Policy and Management in 2016 and gained M.Sc a year after. Since 2019, he started a career as a lecturer at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, majoring in Government Studies. In 2020, he was appointed as Editor in Chief at Journal of Governance and Social Policy, published by Department of Government Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Syiah Kuala. Saddam is also actively involved in managing national-scale journals, both as an editor and reviewer. Among them; Journal of Governance and Contemporary Public Policy (Editor), Jurnal Ilmiah Tata Sejuta STIA Mataram (Reviewer), Journal of Governance and Politics (Reviewer). His research interests are related to the theory and practice of public policy. Currently, he is interested in global development programs called Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
