Sylvia Agustina is a lecturer at the Architecture and Planning Department, Engineering Faculty, Syiah Kuala University. She studied Architecture at Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia before earning her master degree in Urban Planning (MUP) from the University of Washington in Seattle-United States of America.
Her main research interests are in the multi disciplinary realm of urban sustainability using methods and approaches from urban ecology, urban environmental psychology and geographic information system (GIS). She is also involved in various community and voluntary works in the area of urban environment, heritage conservation and youth literacy. Sylvia is currently on leave for PhD Program in the School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore.
